About me
I consider myself an engineer first and a professor second, driven by a passion for solving challenging problems and sharing knowledge with the next generation of engineers. Currently, I work as an Associate Professor at the Department of Automatic Control and Electronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering , University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the Faculty, I founded the BH MachineVision Lab , an informal research group dedicated to exploring innovative solutions in the fields of computer vision and image processing.
Beyond academia, I work as a consultant at EnergoBos ILJIN Sarajevo, specializing in measurement systems, data acquisition, and addressing challenges in the development of medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers. Additionally, I am the founder of PixelmatIQ , a company providing consulting services in machine vision, specialized measurements, and other engineering fields.
And when I’m not immersed in teaching, research, or consulting, I’m cheering on my kids from the sidelines of their football matches - my favorite extracurricular activity!
