1st Exercise - Poligonal modeling

This exercise involves practice with menu sets of Maya's interface, along with many different operations with poligons including extruding of faces end edges from poligonal models, concept of Boolean operations, hierarchy of objects etc.
2nd Exercise - NURBS modeling

The second practical work is NURBS modeling. Apart from introduction of NURBS basics and ways to get NURBS surfaces from NURBS curve, this exercise covers concepts of Node's History, using an Image Planes, and also practice with deformation tools and layers.
3rd - Creating of materials and lightning

Creating of materials and lightning are the most important aspects of creating a final 3D model. This exercise covers not just that, but also bump mapping, IPR rendering, concepts of hypershade editor, etc.

4th Exercise - Creating of materials and lightning

Just like previous, this exercise also deals with materials and lights, but now with focus on 2D Ramp texture. Some advanced tools and techniques are also covered, Fur for example.

5th Exercise - Sceletons and Kinematics

Following exercise covers creating a skeleton with joints, adding joints to a skeleton, creating a skeleton hierarchy, posing and animating using inverse kinematics, binding the 3D surfaces to the skeleton and, finally, modifying skin weights in order to avoid skin deformations.
